This course is for healthcare professionals who need basic rhythm recognition skills. This includes telemetry staff, and those preparing for ACLS, such as paramedics/EMTs, nurses, physicians, clinical pharmacists and respiratory therapists.
What is it?
Learn: Rhythm Adult is an online, self-directed course that introduces healthcare providers to normal cardiac rhythms and prepares them to recognize basic cardiac arrhythmias in clinical practice. Electrocardiogram (ECG) rhythm recognition is a key skill required
to be successful in determining a patient’s condition and knowing which treatment algorithm to apply. This course allows healthcare providers to gain proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition in an effort to provide better treatment and improve patient outcomes.
Students have access to course material for 12 months after activating the course. No skills session is required for course completion;however, a certificate of completion is available to print.
Continuing education credit is available for completing this course.
